Day trading levels & intraday technical signals

Built for day traders: we compute intraday signals on 5- and 15-minute bars and the levels traders watch, then show a combined technical bias (bullish, bearish or neutral) next to the sentiment score. All formulas are standard and documented in the methodology.

Data is delayed. Bullish/bearish technical signals describe recent price action; they are not a forecast and not a recommendation to buy or sell. Day trading is high-risk and most day traders lose money.

Technical signals and levels are computed by MoodTicker from open formulas on near-real-time (delayed up to a few minutes) price bars. They describe what price has done, not a forecast, and are not investment advice or a buy/sell recommendation. Day trading is risky: most day traders lose money.

The free sample is a mid-ranked ticker, never a top-ranked one. Intraday levels for stocks are coming soon; crypto is live now.

Frequently asked questions

What is VWAP and why do day traders watch it?+

VWAP is the volume-weighted average price since the session started: the sum of typical price × volume divided by total volume. Trading above VWAP is read as intraday strength, below as weakness; a move back above it is often called a VWAP reclaim.

How are pivot points calculated?+

Classic floor pivots use the prior session's high (H), low (L) and close (C): P = (H + L + C) / 3, R1 = 2P − L, S1 = 2P − H, R2 = P + (H − L), S2 = P − (H − L).

What is the expected move today?+

It is the 14-day Average True Range (Wilder), shown as ± dollars and percent around the session open. It describes a typical daily range, not a prediction.

What is an opening-range breakout (ORB)?+

The opening range is the high and low of the first 15 and 30 minutes of the session. A price above the 30-minute high is an ORB breakout; below the low, a breakdown. For crypto, which trades 24/7, the session is the UTC day.

How is the technical bias calculated?+

Each signal votes bullish (+1), bearish (−1) or neutral (0): EMA 9/21, price vs VWAP, MACD and opening range at full weight, RSI extremes and relative-volume spikes at half weight. The weighted average maps to a 0–100 technical score; 60+ is bullish, 40 or below bearish.

Is this trading advice?+

No. These are automated technical calculations on delayed data, provided for information only. They are not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or crypto asset.
